I’m excited to share that Gallery 1401 is having their Grand Re-opening this Thursday night!! They are the amazing gallery that represents my work in Chattanooga. They have spent the last 5 months doing a major relocation back to their roots… back to the 1401 Williams Street building they began in years ago. They let me have a sneak peak and it looks incredible. I hope you’ll join me there Thursday night to check out their amazing new space and help them celebrate! I recently came across this still life of potatoes

I recently came across this still life of potatoes I painted over 10 years ago. I remember not really liking it at the time. I think at the time whatever I was trying to accomplish, I didn’t really feel like I had been successful in reaching. I’m really glad I found it. I realized it was successful in many ways and it reminded me how important it is to paint from life… and that you can make a decent painting out of most anything. Felt like it was time to sign my name on this one…
